Konjac (also known as konjac) is a sponge made from the Amorphophallus konjac plant. In Asia, it is widely used for cosmetic and food purposes: for example, to make jelly. The Japanese were the first to use the plant in their beauty routine to cleanse the delicate skin of children. A wet konjac sponge is very soft and suitable for any skin type. The texture of the sponge is velvety, porous and slightly jelly-like. Since the konjac sponge is made from natural materials, the risk of allergies is minimal. It does not irritate, injure or scratch the skin (unlike many synthetic sponges for washing). At the same time, it cleanses well: it opens pores, removes blackheads and prevents inflammation. The porous structure of the sponge helps to gently but effectively exfoliate - you will not even need additional exfoliants (peels or scrubs). In addition, the konjac sponge evens out the texture, makes the skin softer, prevents inflammation and improves blood microcirculation. How to use * First, thoroughly wet the sponge. It is better to completely immerse the konjac sponge in a container with warm water for a couple of minutes. Then squeeze it out. * Apply your favorite cleanser to the konjac and massage your entire face. The cleanser will immediately foam, and even better than if you just rub it in your hands. * You can go over your face with the sponge again, but without the product, only with water, to additionally exfoliate and cleanse the skin. * You can even use the konjac sponge on the area around the eyes. But it is important that the cleanser is as gentle as possible. * Wash your face with warm water, rinse the sponge, squeeze it out and hang it to dry.
